ALA in Chicago, ForeWord Reviews awards Friday Night

Looking forward to American Library Assn meeting in Chicago June 27-July 2. Lots of friends to meet, Sisters in Crime booth at the exhibits and Kuali OLE festivities. Especially looking forward to Friday night at the exhibits ForeWord Reviews. I’m on a panel Sat. noon at Pop Top Stage “What makes Chicago a great place for a murder” with fellow Sisters in Crime Chicagoland authors David Walker and Clare O’Donohue. I’ll be signing books there at the Allium Press booth and at SinC National booth on Sunday afternoon.

  1. Dear Frances–

How may I get to go to the ALA and your panel on Saturday? In the old days, I needed some credential? I’d love to hear both you and David Walker’s session.

Incidentally, its cool about the U of Chicago and the Woods Hole relationship once again! You did know that the Director’s wife, Sally, wrote me that she bought a dozen copies of your book and sent them to friends and relatives!

    I await your next one.

    Best regards,

    Mike E.

P.S. You and i have chatted before on your visits to Centuries and Sleuths.
